We're packing for over 21000 runners so b prepared for e packing.we're expected to report by 9 am for 1, 2, 3 dec for any daily briefings.If approached by members of e media, refer 'em 2 e Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2005 Media Tent @ Padang... btw they can dismiss volunteers if u breach confidentiality of participants' particulars or display unruly behaviour... so b on ur best behaviour... btw, we're insured but dun go injuring urself on purpose... Benefits: (this is wat u're looking 4)we're given: -adidas t-shirt-token allowance of $30 per day(pls note u've 2 collect e money PERSONALLY)-cert of appreciation-CIP hrs-Accreditation Passes- wear it at all times, it's NON-TRANSFERABLE & gives access only 2 areas where we work. pls dun lose it.we're given e shirt n passes on 26 i think.dress code for 1, 2, 3 dec: encouraged 2 wear adidas branded shorts OR any no-brand dark coloured shorts (preferable black/dark blue) WIF e given shirt. for guyz, knee length shorts are acceptable. but for 26 & 27, since we're packing, we're NOT required 2 wear e given shirt on these days, juz wear anything comfortable. pls adhere 2 e dress code.
we were also given a map of e place so ask those who went for e briefing if u wanna take a look. we asked 2 b counter support but it's not confirmed yet, will tell you all at a later date. Not sure if those who didn't go 4 e briefing need 2 get a copy of e volunteer handbook, will ask 'em.
