hey o5s15! talking abt cip right, and i mean the real cip (lol), dency and i are cip reps. so you pple can get the cip proposal forms from us before u intiate any activities, 'kay? and u need to tell us. yup. so our roles are to encourage for u all to sign up for the college-initiated cip, like the primary school camp one (i think it's yang zheng primary?), or the overseas cip to maldives. we also need to initiate our own class cip so as to fulful moe requirements. and btw, the cip notice board is next to the level one staffroom, near the slope. you can sign up for any college-initiated cip there.
and i guess u pple want more than the required 6 hours right? we should aim for at least 80 hrs over the course of two years, so as to achieve 4 cca pts which is the maximum for community service. of course, as michael tay puts it, life is not all just about points. haha..so we do cip so as to "develop leadership with sensitivity and serve the community with a sense of commitment and passion" (as quoted from mr daniel wong--the cip teacher-in-charge). okay, so what dency and i thought was to fulfil at least 6 hours by this first 3 months, or better still, 10 hours. then we do not have to worry about not fulfilling moe's requirements yeah? :)

so which organisations are u all interested in? i thought that doing cip in the zoo sounds interesting. and pls be reminded that we have to write reflections after each cip activity, so i advise not to go to the library cos bascially, u learn nothing. besides shelving books and improving ur alphabets. haha..yeah. so tell me ur preferences, and we might organise the cip activities after cny. that is after whatever we have suggested have already been approved by teachers. alright pple?? :)
